What the app sends and why

• Text you translate is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our server to produce the translation and pronunciation. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
• Translation cache. Short sentences (up to 120 characters) that do not look personal (no long numbers, emails or links) may be kept on our server for up to 30 days, keyed by a hash, so the same sentence is answered faster. They are not linked to you.
• Photos you translate. When you translate a photo (from the camera or your gallery), a smaller copy of the image is sent over HTTPS to our server to read and translate the text in it. Photos are never stored or logged on our server.
• Random app ID. The app creates a random ID when installed to count your free daily translations and to credit rewarded-ad bonuses. It is not your name, phone number or advertising ID.
• Ads. The app shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location from your IP address, and app interaction and diagnostics data, as described in Google's privacy policy. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK) you are asked for consent and can change it in Settings.
• Voice downloads. When you download an offline Thai voice, the file comes from our server; the app's random ID is sent to check the request comes from the app.

Camera and microphone

• Camera is used only when you open the photo translator. Only the photo you take and choose to translate leaves the phone, as above.
• Microphone is used for voice input and for speaking practice. Speech is turned into text by your phone's speech recognition service (for example Google's); Sabai receives only the recognized text. Recordings you make to compare your own voice stay on your phone and are not uploaded.

What stays on your phone

Your translation history, saved items, lesson progress, settings and downloaded voices are stored only on your device. You can delete history and voices in Settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything.

What we don't collect

No account, name, phone number, contacts or precise location.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

• ဘာသာပြန်တဲ့ စာ ကို လုံခြုံတဲ့ ချိတ်ဆက်မှု (HTTPS) နဲ့ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ server ဆီ ဘာသာပြန်ဖို့ ပို့ပါတယ်။ ရောင်းချခြင်း၊ ကြော်ငြာအတွက် သုံးခြင်း မပြုပါ။
• ကိုယ်ရေးအချက်အလက် မပါတဲ့ စာကြောင်းတိုများ (စာလုံး ၁၂၀ အောက်) ကို ပိုမြန်အောင် server မှာ ရက် ၃၀ အထိ သိမ်းနိုင်ပါတယ်။ သင်နဲ့ ချိတ်ဆက်ထားခြင်း မရှိပါ။
• ဓာတ်ပုံ ဘာသာပြန်ရင် ပုံကို အသေးချုံ့ပြီး ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ server ဆီ စာဖတ်ဖို့ ပို့ပါတယ်။ ဓာတ်ပုံကို server မှာ မသိမ်းပါ၊ မှတ်တမ်း မတင်ပါ။
• တစ်ရက် အခမဲ့ အကြိမ်ရေ ရေတွက်ဖို့ app က ကျပန်း ID တစ်ခု ဖန်တီးပါတယ်။ နာမည်၊ ဖုန်းနံပါတ် မဟုတ်ပါ။
• ကြော်ငြာ: Google AdMob က device ID၊ IP အရ ခန့်မှန်းတည်နေရာ စတာတွေကို Google ရဲ့ မူဝါဒအတိုင်း စုဆောင်းနိုင်ပါတယ်။
• အသံ download ရင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ server ကနေ ဒေါင်းပါတယ်။ app ရဲ့ ကျပန်း ID ကို ပို့ပါတယ်။

ကင်မရာနဲ့ မိုက်ခရိုဖုန်း

• ကင်မရာ ကို ဓာတ်ပုံ ဘာသာပြန် ဖွင့်မှပဲ သုံးပါတယ်။ ရိုက်ပြီး ဘာသာပြန်ဖို့ ရွေးတဲ့ ပုံပဲ ပို့ပါတယ်။
• မိုက်ခရိုဖုန်း ကို အသံနဲ့ ရိုက်ထည့်ရင်နဲ့ ပြောကျင့်ရင် သုံးပါတယ်။ အသံကို ဖုန်းရဲ့ စကားသံ မှတ်ယူစနစ်က စာပြောင်းပြီး Sabai က စာကိုပဲ ရပါတယ်။ ကိုယ့်အသံ ပြန်နားထောင်ဖို့ အသံသွင်းတာက ဖုန်းထဲမှာပဲ ရှိပြီး ဘယ်ကိုမှ မပို့ပါ။

ဘာသာပြန် မှတ်တမ်း၊ သိမ်းထားတာ၊ သင်ခန်းစာ တိုးတက်မှု၊ setting၊ ဒေါင်းထားတဲ့ အသံတွေက သင့်ဖုန်းထဲမှာပဲ ရှိပါတယ်။ Setting ကနေ ဖျက်လို့ရပြီး app ဖြုတ်ရင် အားလုံး ပျက်ပါတယ်။

မစုဆောင်းတာ

အကောင့်၊ နာမည်၊ ဖုန်းနံပါတ်၊ အဆက်အသွယ်များ၊ တိကျတဲ့ တည်နေရာ မစုဆောင်းပါ။

ကလေးများ

အသက် ၁၃ နှစ်အောက် ကလေးများအတွက် ရည်ရွယ်ထားခြင်း မဟုတ်ပါ။
